Made for Botica Barcia in my role as a Data Analyst.
The point for this project was to replace a manual task such as providing a brief daily sales report, with an automated process. This report would include the total sales and the average per sale, sent via SMS, at a certain time.For this I made use of pyodbc for creating a connection to the Botica's database:
Once I made a connection, I ran a query and returned those results as a Pandas DataFrame. After that, I used twilio to send the report as an sms. For automating this program, I used the Tasks Manager from Windows. In there, I selected a python interpreter and the script to run, which would be my app.py file.
